Institut Arnault TZANCK consists of a number of institutions on the Saint-Laurent-du-Var campus, managed by non-profit organizations (as defined by the Act of July 1, 1901). The boards of directors of these organizations are composed of supporters and prominent individuals in the field of transfusion, all volunteer.



The institutions have all been approved by the Caisse Régionale d'Assurance Maladie (regional health care insurance fund) and major social service organizations.



A social assistance agreement was signed with the Regional Council of Alpes-Maritimes (Conseil Général des Alpes-Maritimes) covering patients admitted to the surgery and cardiac intensive care departments.

Medical and Surgical Center
The capacity of this private, non-profit health care and inpatient facility is 254 inpatient and outpatient beds:

• 6 beds in medical intensive care

• 48 beds in internal medicine (including 12 for continuous monitoring)

• 5 beds in cardiac intensive care

• 60 beds in cardiovascular surgery

• 72 beds dedicated to general and specialized surgery (including 20 in intensive care)

• 30 hemodialysis stations

• 33 outpatient beds for ambulatory anesthesia and surgery
Medical Infrastructure:
► Five operating rooms

► An entire unit for ambulatory surgery, comprising 33 beds and 3 specialized operating rooms

► An endoscopy facility

► A multidisciplinary laser treatment unit

► A seven-room radiology and echography department, including two angiography rooms

► A hemodynamics department equipped with two rooms for digital coronary angiography

► A non-invasive cardiology unit
► A nuclear medicine service with two gamma cameras, including one specifically for cardiology
► Physical Therapy and Thalassotherapy Center
Emergency Care Center (UPATOU) 24-hour service, 7 days a week
Centre Médico-Social (Medical and Social Services Center)
The building houses:

► The Hemodialysis Center (artificial kidneys), with a capacity of:
• 28 stations (monitored, personal generators reserved for chronic kidney failure patients)
• 2 stations used for home- and self-dialysis training
•  1 station reserved for patients from other centers.

► Medical Hospitalization
The clinic's two medical hospitalization departments are located in this building on the ground and second floors.
Medical Imaging Center
► A multislice, helical (spiral) CT scanner, managed by the Centre Azuréen de Tomodensitométrie/Azuréen Computed Tomography Center.
► A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner, managed by an economic interest group bringing together the Association des Amis de la Transfusion and 104 private radiologists.
Diagnostic Laboratory
Specializing in hematology, hemostasis, biochemistry, bacteriology, and virology.
Ciel et Mer Residence
Apartments reserved for the families of patients, physicians, and student staff members of the institute. The furnished studios and two-room apartments have fully equipped kitchens, southern exposure, large terraces with a view of the sea, air-conditioning, and private telephone lines directly connected to the clinic hospital rooms. Underground parking and garden.
